At SaveFamily, we are ready to take one of the most important steps in our history. From 2–5 March 2026, we will be at the Mobile World Congress to officially present our new SaveWatch Plus 2 Pay, the first children's smartwatch in Europe with secure NFC payments integrated and certified by Mastercard.
With this launch, we are entering a new era in technology designed for minors: the integration of digital payments in a completely secure environment, designed specifically for children and managed entirely by their families.
A natural step in the evolution of digital money
Cash is becoming less and less a part of everyday life. Children grow up watching adults pay with cards or by tapping their mobile phones on card readers. The question is no longer whether they will use digital payments, but when and how their first experience will happen.
At SaveFamily, we want that moment to be accompanied, gradual and safe. SaveWatch Plus 2 Pay incorporates a digital wallet housed directly in the watch, with no physical cards or need for a smartphone. Children can pay simply by holding their wrist up to the terminal, while parents manage everything from our app: they create the wallet with identity verification, add funds, set limits and monitor every transaction in real time.
It's not just about paying. It's about educating children in the responsible use of digital money within a closed ecosystem adapted to their age.
Technology that fosters independence without rushing into smartphones
We know that many families are looking for balance. They want to be able to communicate with their children, know where they are and offer them a certain amount of independence, but without prematurely opening the door to a smartphone with unlimited access to social media and an unfiltered digital environment.
Our new watch combines calls, secure messaging, video calls, accurate GPS location tracking, an SOS button and class mode to avoid distractions during school hours in a single device. All this without the child needing their own phone.
In addition, we have integrated our own Artificial Intelligence, developed entirely in Spain and designed to interact with children through age-appropriate content. The system is complemented by advanced security features such as face unlock and specific monitoring tools that reinforce families’ peace of mind.

Education is a core pillar of SaveWatch Plus 2 Pay. The smartwatch allows children to check their balance, view savings goals and track their progress directly from the screen. Parents can set up regular allowances or rewards linked to tasks, encouraging responsible habits and helping them understand the value of money in a digital environment.
We want children's first financial experience to be positive, controlled and educational.
Designed with families and children themselves
Children, parents and technical specialists were directly involved throughout the development process. Our goal was to create the most comprehensive children's smartwatch on the market, combining technological innovation with real security.
On a technical level, SaveWatch Plus 2 Pay features an AMOLED screen, quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, IP68 resistance and Gorilla Glass. We are also introducing a new line of interchangeable straps developed in collaboration with Grupo Cerdá, inspired by iconic Warner Bros. franchises such as Harry Potter, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, allowing each child to personalise their watch without changing devices.
Security, regulation and European commitment
Integrating digital payments demands the highest level of responsibility. That is why we operate in collaboration with the European entity Treezor, complying with EU regulations on financial services and data protection, including AML, CFT, KYC verification and data storage on European servers in accordance with the GDPR.
For us, security is not an additional feature, it is the foundation on which we build our entire ecosystem.
Mobile World Congress 2026 will be the stage where we officially unveil this innovation, redefining the concept of children's smartwatches.
