Yes, SaveFamily watch models need a nano SIM with a data plan to work with all their features.
They are compatible with any Spanish operator: Movistar, Vodafone, Orange, Yoigo, Digi, Simyo and other MVNOs.

Several SaveFamily models (SaveWatch Plus range, Iconic Plus 2) include WhatsApp with adapted features:

• Text messages and voice notes with any WhatsApp contact

• Video calls on models with a camera

• WhatsApp contacts are the ones already on the phone or those added from the watch

What the watch does NOT have:

• Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or any social network

• Internet browser

• App store

This makes SaveFamily an alternative to the smartphone for teens who want to talk with their friends without the risks of social media exposure. Parents can see the contact list, but junior models offer more communication independence than Kids models. 

SaveFamily watches for teens are designed to balance safety with independence. The location system works as follows:
