Spectacular day with SaveFamilyCam
What a joy!!! There are days when I see life beyond cell phones!!
Let me put you in the picture so you can understand my joy. The other afternoon, when it was a beautiful day, we took advantage of the opportunity to stay home after extracurricular activities. We went to the park with the SavefamilyCam to take photos that remind us that weekends aren't just for enjoying quality time with our little ones (who are starting to grow up without us even realizing it).
We arrived home after 7:30 p.m. with a big smile on our faces, mud on our pants, messy hair... In short, we immediately jumped into the washing machine. The camera's SD card was full of photos, selfies, videos, and all kinds of memories.
My surprise came just two hours after I started looking at the photos the kids had taken. They were photos of their curious activities, photos of each other, photos of friends, photos of me and my partner, selfies... photos that have meaning in their crazy little minds and that I'd be happy to print out so they don't end up on a computer (They haven't taken any photos to present at the Sony World Photography Awards yet, but it's a start).
They've also been updating us on their favorite songs using the camera's MP3 player. You always learn so much about children, and they've taught me a really cool song, "De ellos aprendí" (I Learned From Them) by David Rees. It's a song about dreams, friendship, courage, and all based on the morals of Disney movies. Seeing things through the eyes of children is a lot of fun.
We're going to take her for a stroll this Carnival to remember the cool costumes she and her friends are going to wear. Plus, with the camera filters, they'll have a blast! This is my joy, being able to enjoy quality time away from our phones and TV screens... and being able to capture all these moments that we'll surely remember fondly over the years.
