How to detect bullying

We've talked several times about the importance of stopping bullying. Early detection is an advantage because it can prevent a lot of psychological damage that could persist over time. Therefore, we want to share a series of tips for detecting it early:

1. Difficulty concentrating: A drop in academic performance may be a sign that the child is being bullied. Not wanting to go to school, becoming more anxious when they should be, skipping school, etc.

2. Mood swings: Changes in mood, such as aggression or isolation, are another warning sign that the child is being bullied.

3. Psychosomatic pain: This can range from stomach pain to headaches, insomnia, etc.

It's terrible for children to experience these kinds of situations, which unfortunately, with the advent of the internet and social media, can become worse and lead to cyberbullying.

It's important to detect bullying early and take steps to stop it, as these types of problems can lead to depression, self-esteem issues, post-traumatic stress, or somatic pain. If you notice worrying changes in your child after experiencing this type of situation, consulting a specialist for help may be a good option.

There's one thing all victims of bullying have in common: they tend to keep it a secret. At SaveFamily, we want to help families take action and put a stop to it, which is why all our watches feature an anti-bullying module. With it, you can listen to what's happening around your child without anyone knowing. If you suspect your child is experiencing this type of bullying, act when in doubt.
