They, us.
Happy, strong, intelligent, confident, mothers, loving, dreamers, real, successful, creative, joyful, brave, loyal, wonderful, daughters, sincere, friends, admirable, kind, unmatched, unique, pioneers, sensitive, free sisters, exceptional, perfect, unforgettable, simple... them.
These and many other positive adjectives for them, for us.
At SaveFamily, we would like to pay a small tribute to all the women who are part of our history, who gave voice and encouragement to so many others, breaking down walls, building bridges, paving the way with great effort and hard work to reach even further.
From Hypatia of Alexandria (mathematician), Christine de Pizan (writer), Charlotte Cooper (tennis player), Marie Curie (chemist)... to the present day, such as Sirimavo Bandaranaike (first woman in the world to assume the position of "Prime Minister"), Valentina Tereshkova (first female astronaut to travel to space), Margarita Delgado (Deputy Governor of the Bank of Spain).
These women are just a small sample of all those who have fought for equality and women's rights and have made it possible for society's values to gradually change.
More than a century later, the letters of Marie Curie, winner of two Nobel Prizes for her work on radioactivity, still stir consciences, revealing how she confronted the machismo of the time.
Mothers, daughters, grandmothers, sisters... women who are part of our environment, from whom we must learn, who tell us stories from their lives so that the same mistakes aren't repeated, so that the evolution within our community can contribute a small bit.
We are not alone. By helping each other, we can go far, cross borders, and make our dreams come true. Women's Day is every day, from the moment we wake up ready to take on the world until we go to rest and come back stronger than ever.
